Autumn Gardens














A garden of roses and other hardy plants surrounding a fully restored heritage homestead. Ferndale was built by Walter Padbury circa 1850 and is one of the oldest surviving homesteads in the Southwest. A strongly architectural design links the two winged of the building with existing trees.

Coffee, tea & homemade biscuits available.

4.5 acres of artistically designed garden. Features include cottage garden, natives and hardy

exotics.  Autumn display of many large deciduous trees offer a blaze of colour. Large grassed area with permanent creek/ponds.   Rainforest with water lilies lead to the hillside zig-zag path through 60 cork oak trees, which opens to stunning views.
